The name says it all. The Obsidian Calm is sharp on the outside and still on the inside; a chair that carries a bold, two-tone finish into a room and then quietly gets to work the moment you sit down. Function and form, neither one compromising the other.
What It Does?
The Obsidian Calm runs on an intelligent dynamic massage movement system built into a streamlined frame. The ultra-long L-shaped track covers the neck, shoulders, mid-back, and down to the hips, delivering full spinal coverage within a compact structure. Six preset programs address different body needs; from a focused upper-back session to a broader full-body sequence. Eight airbags across the waist and leg zones provide rhythmic compression that works alongside the roller system rather than separately from it. The zero-gravity recline repositions your body to reduce spinal load and allow the rollers to reach deeper into the back muscles without resistance.

The Obsidian Calm has an edge to it; the intelligent dynamic movement system does not settle into a single rhythm. It shifts, adjusts, and applies pressure with a variation that keeps the session from feeling repetitive. The L-track coverage along the hips is where this chair earns its keep; many chairs lose contact with the body at the lower back, but the Obsidian Calm follows the curve all the way through. The zero-gravity recline removes the usual resistance between your weight and the rollers, and what you feel instead is the chair working with your body rather than against it.
The Red and Black two-tone finish gives the Obsidian Calm a presence that many massage chairs do not have. It works well in spaces with darker interiors, industrial-style rooms, or anywhere a chair is meant to be seen as well as used. The frame is compact, the folding leg rest keeps the forward footprint minimal when the chair is upright, and the recline requires very little rear clearance. For smaller apartments where visual weight matters as much as physical footprint, the Obsidian Calm holds its ground without taking over the room.
The Obsidian Calm ships with the main chair unit, a foldable leg rest, a wired remote control, and a printed assembly guide. The six preset programs are accessible directly from the remote without any app or Bluetooth pairing required. Assembly involves attaching the backrest and leg rest components, which two people can complete in under an hour. The zero-gravity function is remote-operated and engages with a single button press; no manual adjustment needed.
Wipe the surface down after each session using a soft cloth that is dry or very lightly damp. The two-tone PU leather finish responds poorly to alcohol-based or solvent cleaning products, stick to mild, water-based options only. Check the folding leg rest hinge and L-track housing every three to four months for any debris accumulation or mechanical looseness. Keep the chair away from extended direct sunlight to prevent the Black and Red finish from fading unevenly over time.
